B-2 Visa for Pleasure

Foreign nationals who wish to visit the United
States for leisure, shopping, tourism, medical treatment, family, relatives
visiting or conferences or conventions not relating to business are normally
eligible to receive a B-2 Visas. The visa may be issued in either single entry
or multiple entry formats, may also be issued for a limited time frame or on an
indefinite basis.
1. Who Qualifies?
(1). Purpose of the trip is to enter the U.S. for tourism, medical treatment, shopping or visiting relatives and friends; and
(2). Plan to remain for a specific, limited period; and
(3).Have a residence outside the United States and do not want to abandon it as well as other binding ties that will insure your return back at the end of the visit; and
(4). Have sufficient financial ability to support the activities in the United States.
2. Procedures
First, get your visa payment fee done and make appointment with the American Consulate, meanwhile, prepare your supporting documents and file your DS-160 application online at American Consulate official website. Then, go to the meeting as scheduled. After that, your visa will be delivered as you requested.

DS-160, I-134, Affidavit of Support
Supporting Documents: valid passport, original bank receipt for application, real estate certificate, employment verification, bank account statement, marriage certificate, sponsor statement, specific travel plans and so on.

4. Warning
(1).B-2 Visa visitors may not engage in any employment or enroll in a full course of study, but a tourist of B-2 status can engage in a short course of study that is secondary to the main purpose of the trip;
(2). Individuals who enter the United States under the Visa Waiver Program are not eligible to change status.
