1.       Evidence of physically present in the U.S. for one year prior to the absence

1)       Lease /Mortgage statement

2)       Utility bill

3)       Bank and credit card statement

4)       Medical records, insurance receipt and all personal income tax receipt

5)       Quarterly social security report

2.       Proof documents of U.S. Company or research institution, international organization's qualification. Whether a U.S. corporation can qualify depends on the nationality of the company which must be more than 50% owned by U.S. nationals.

3.       Employment verification or contract that the employee will be employed abroad

4.       Statement that the employee must be continuously absent during the period of overseas employment

5.       Copy of Green Card (front and back)

6.       Copy of a valid Passport pages showing personal information, photo and entry/exit stamps

7.       Copy of Driver's License

8.       Copy of Social Security Card

9.       Affidavit from the corporate employer or research institution, or letter from the U.S. government or international organization employer

1)       An official communication from the appropriate office of the department or agency of the U.S. Government, or the public international organization; or

2)       Affidavit or affidavits executed by the appropriate administrative official of the American institution or religious denomination or interdenominational mission for whom you are, were or will be employed or with whom you entered into a contract; or by the appropriate administrative official of the American firm or corporation, or subsidiary thereof by whom you are or will be employed.

10.   Copy of tax returns and W-2s

11.   Marriage Certificate (if applicable)

12.   Birth certificate of children (if applicable)

13.   Copy of Passport your spouse and (or) children

Note:

Translations: Any document containing foreign language submitted to USCIS shall be accompanied by a full English language translation which the translator has certified as complete and accurate, and by the translator's certification that he or she is competent to translate from the foreign language into English

Copies: Unless specifically required that an original document be filed with an application or petition, an ordinary legible photocopy may be submitted. Original documents submitted when not required will remain a part of the record, even if the submission was not required
